Product Introduction
Characteristics and Applications
The raw material of MSM-NM50 welding wire is martensitic stainless steel, with a composition similar to that of 40Cr13. The surfacing layer of this welding wire features good machinability, high hardness, and excellent wear resistance, as well as high strength and favorable corrosion resistance. It also has good weldability and low susceptibility to welding cracks, making it suitable for surfacing or repairing the surfaces of wear-resistant components such as rolls and drill bits.
Precautions
1.Suitable for welding processes such as MIG, MAG, TIG, or plasma welding. The shielding gas shall be 100% argon or argon-rich mixture gas.
2.Oil stains, moisture, oxide films, and other contaminants on the welding area must be thoroughly removed.
3.A well-ventilated windproof shield should be provided at the welding site to prevent the dissipation of shielding gas and avoid welding defects.
4. The ambient humidity during welding should generally not exceed 70%.
5.The preheating temperature or interpass temperature should generally be controlled within the range of 100–300℃.
