Characteristics and Applications
This is an aluminum bronze welding wire with high manganese content, containing more than 11% Mn as well as appropriate amounts of Fe and Ni. The weld bead features high strength, excellent wear resistance, and a hardness of up to 230HB. It also demonstrates good corrosion resistance to seawater and chlorides.
This welding wire is suitable for welding components such as propellers, pumps, pipes, and heat exchangers, as well as for surfacing aluminum bronze and steel surfaces. It can be widely used in the marine, chemical, and machinery industries.
Precautions
1. Suitable for welding processes including MIG, TIG, and plasma welding, with DC reverse polarity. The shielding gas shall be 100% Ar.
2.Oil stains, moisture, oxide films, and other contaminants on the welding area must be thoroughly removed.
3. A well-designed windproof shield shall be provided at the welding site to prevent degradation of the shielding gas effect.
4.The ambient humidity during welding should generally not exceed 70%.
