Characteristics and Applications
The raw material of MSM-DNM50Ni-1 welding wire is martensitic stainless steel, featuring an excellent balance of strength and toughness. The surfacing layer of this welding wire boasts good machinability, high hardness, moderate toughness, as well as high strength and outstanding corrosion resistance. With excellent weldability and low susceptibility to welding cracks, this welding wire is suitable for surfacing the surfaces of components requiring wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high strength and toughness.
Precautions
1. Applicable to welding processes such as MIG, MAG, TIG and plasma welding. The shielding gas shall be 100% argon or argon-rich mixed gas.
2. Oil stains, moisture, oxide films, and other contaminants on the welding area must be thoroughly removed.
3. A well-ventilated and wind-shielded environment is required at the welding site to prevent the dissipation of shielding gas, which may cause welding defects.
4. The humidity of the welding environment should generally not exceed 70%.
5. The preheating temperature or interpass temperature is generally controlled within the range of 100–300℃.
