Characteristics and Applications
Gas-shielded stranded welding wire for high-strength steels. It features excellent welding performance, low fume emission, nearly spatter-free operation, stable arc, and a wide process adjustment range. Weld penetration and bead width can be adjusted by modifying welding parameters to meet actual requirements. The weld metal provides excellent low-temperature impact toughness, with a high first-pass rate in non-destructive testing.
This product is widely used in the military industry, offshore engineering, pressure vessels, petroleum pipelines, steel structures, and other fields.
With the MIG/MAG process, by adjusting the structure and geometry of the stranded wire, one-pass welding penetration can be achieved from 0.5 mm to 14 mm for different materials. Weld bead width can also be adjusted in a single pass from 5 mm to 35 mm according to process requirements, and high-speed welding at 2.5 m/min can be easily realized.

Notes
(1) Weld with DCEN (Direct Current Electrode Negative).
(2) High deposition rate and deep penetration can effectively reduce weld size and groove angle, thereby lowering production costs.
(3) Use a shielding gas mixture of 80% Ar + 20% CO₂ or CO₂ with purity above 99.5%, at a flow rate of 15–25 L/min.
(4) For multi-layer and multi-pass welding, interpass temperature should be controlled at 100–150 °C.
(5) For non-consumable filler wire welding processes such as TIG, plasma, and laser, use 99.99% pure Ar as shielding gas.
