Characteristics and Applications
The weld metal is of the 18Cr-12Ni-2Mo grade with a stable austenitic structure. It boasts excellent heat resistance, crack resistance and weldability. Owing to its molybdenum content, it exhibits superior corrosion resistance to substances such as acetic acid, sulfurous acid, phosphoric acid and salts. This product is suitable for components in the chemical industry and power engineering, as well as for welding steels like SUS316.
Precautions
The flux must be baked at 350℃ and held at that temperature for 1 hour before use. Ensure it is kept dry to prevent porosity.
Welding with high heat input is feasible.
When reusing the flux, mix it with an appropriate amount of new flux to guarantee favorable welding quality.
