Characteristics and Applications
TP-S347L is a welding wire or filler wire for gas-shielded welding (MAG, MIG, TIG). Its weld metal is of the 19Cr-9Ni grade. With ultra-low carbon content and an appropriate amount of niobium, this welding wire can reduce the precipitation of chromium carbide at grain boundaries, thereby enhancing the intergranular corrosion resistance of weld seams while ensuring favorable mechanical properties of the welds. It is suitable for welding austenitic stainless steels and alloys with similar compositions, such as 0Cr18Ni9Ti and 1Cr18Ni9Ti.
Precautions
1.The shielding gas to be used shall be 98%Ar + 2%CO₂ with a gas flow rate of 15–25 L/min.
2.A well-shielded environment free from drafts shall be provided at the welding site to prevent shielding gas dissipation and subsequent welding defects.
3.Oil stains, moisture, oxide layers and other contaminants on the welding area must be thoroughly removed prior to welding.
4.For non-consumable electrode wire filling welding processes such as TIG, plasma arc and laser welding, the shielding gas shall be 99.99% pure argon.
