This aluminum alloy welding wire features high magnesium content and contains trace elements of Mn, Cr and Zr. These elements help refine the weld microstructure and reduce the tendency of welding cracks. It is suitable for welding base metals such as 6N01, 6082, 6005A and 5083.
This welding consumable boasts attractive weld appearance, excellent weld performance, stable welding arc and low spatter. It is applicable to the welding of components in sectors including shipbuilding, locomotive carriages, automobiles, trailers, containers and aluminum alloy structures.
During MIG welding, the arc of the stranded aluminum alloy welding wire rotates as the wire is fed, exerting a real-time stirring effect on the molten pool. This helps eliminate gas pores and slag inclusions in the melt, promotes the homogenization of weld composition, and ensures lower welding heat input, thus achieving high-quality welds.
Precautions
1.Adopt open-arc automatic welding, TIG welding or high-power plasma welding. The shielding gas shall be 100% argon.
2.The welding site must be equipped with effective wind shielding to prevent the dispersion of shielding gas and avoid welding defects.
3.Oil stains, oxide films and other contaminants on the welding area must be completely removed.
