Characteristics and Applications
Gas-shielded stranded welding wire for high-strength steel. It features excellent welding operability, low fume emission and almost no spatter, with relatively stable electric arc and a wide range of process adjustment. The weld penetration and width can be adjusted by modifying the welding process according to actual requirements. The weld seam has good low-temperature impact toughness, and the one-time non-destructive testing pass rate is high. This product is widely applicable to military industry, marine engineering, pressure vessels, petroleum pipelines, steel structures and other fields.
For the MIG/MAG welding process, by adjusting the structure and morphology of the stranded welding wire, the weld penetration of different materials can be formed in one pass ranging from 0.5mm to 14mm. The weld width can also be adjusted in one pass from 5mm to 35mm according to process requirements, and high-speed welding of 2.5m/min can be easily achieved.
Notes
1.Weld with DC reverse polarity.
2.It has high deposition rate and deep penetration, which can effectively reduce weld leg size and welding groove angle, thus lowering costs.
3.Adopt a mixed gas of 80%Ar + 20%CO₂ or pure CO₂ gas with a purity of over 99.5%, at a flow rate of 15–25L/min.
4.For multi-layer and multi-pass welding, it is advisable to control the interpass temperature within 100–150℃.
5.When using non-consumable electrode filler wire welding processes such as TIG, plasma arc or laser welding, the shielding gas shall be 99.99% pure argon.
