Characteristics & Applications
MSM-WH10Mn2 (matched with flux SJ101) is a submerged arc welding wire intended for high-strength steels with a yield strength grade of ≥490 MPa. It features low welding consumption ratio, excellent porosity resistance and good slag detachability, forming smooth and uniform weld beads with superior weldability. High deposition efficiency and low-temperature impact toughness can be achieved with this wire. It is suitable for multi-pass welding, and exhibits particularly good weldability when used with a single-power source. This product is widely applied in shipbuilding and repair, offshore engineering, pressure vessels, petroleum pipelines, steel structures and other fields.
Precautions
1.The flux must be baked at 350℃ and held at this temperature for 1 hour before use. Ensure it is kept dry to prevent porosity defects.
2.High wire feed speed welding is permitted.
3.When reusing the flux, mix it with an appropriate amount of new flux to ensure excellent welding quality.
