The weld metal is composed of 18Cr-12Ni-2Mo and features a stable austenitic structure, with excellent heat resistance, crack resistance and weldability. Thanks to its molybdenum (Mo) content, it exhibits superior corrosion resistance to substances such as acetic acid, sulfurous acid, phosphoric acid and salts. It is suitable for components in the chemical industry and power engineering, as well as for welding steels like SUS316.
Precautions
1.The flux must be baked at 350℃ for 1 hour before use. Ensure it is kept dry to prevent the formation of porosity.
2.Welding with high wire feed rate is permissible.
3.When reusing the flux, mix it with an appropriate amount of new flux to ensure favorable welding quality.
