Characteristics and Applications
MSM-WNi6082 welding wire is suitable for welding Inconel 600/601/690 alloys and Incoloy 800/800HT/330 alloys via processes including MAG, MIG, TIG, CMT, plasma welding and submerged arc welding, and it can also be used for surfacing welding on steel surfaces. The weld metal has high strength and good corrosion resistance, along with excellent oxidation resistance and high creep rupture strength at elevated temperatures. TP-WNi6082 welding wire features a wide application range and is applicable for dissimilar material welding, such as joining Inconel series alloys, Incoloy series alloys, Monel series alloys, stainless steels and carbon steels; it can also be used for welding stainless steels to nickel-based alloys or carbon steels.
Precautions
1.When using MIG, TIG or other applicable welding processes, the shielding gas can be pure argon, argon-rich mixture gas or other suitable gases.
2.Thoroughly clean oil stains, moisture, dust, oxide films and other contaminants from the groove and its adjacent areas before welding.
3.The welding site shall be equipped with effective wind shielding to prevent degradation of the shielding gas performance.
4.For multi-pass welding, the interpass temperature shall not exceed 100℃.
5.When conducting non-consumable electrode filler wire welding (e.g., TIG, plasma, laser welding), the shielding gas shall be 99.99% pure argon.
