Characteristics and Applications
MSM-WNi8065 welding wire is primarily used for welding Incoloy 825 alloy and other nickel-iron-based alloys with similar nickel-iron-chromium-molybdenum-copper compositions via MAG, MIG, TIG, CMT or plasma welding processes. The weld metal formed by this welding material exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, and is especially resistant to corrosion by reducing chemicals such as sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid.
Precautions
1.Suitable for MIG, TIG or other applicable welding processes. The shielding gas can be pure argon, argon-rich mixture gas or other suitable gases.
2.Prior to welding, thoroughly clean the weld groove and its adjacent areas to remove oil stains, moisture, dust, oxide films and other contaminants.
3.A well-designed windproof shield shall be provided at the welding site to prevent degradation of the shielding gas effect.
4.For multi-pass welding, the interpass temperature shall not exceed 100℃.
5.When using non-consumable electrode filler wire welding processes such as TIG, plasma welding and laser welding, the shielding gas shall be 99.99% Ar.
